Founded in 2004, Digital Signage Expo (DSE) is the world’s largest international trade show dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology, and Out-of-Home networks. This highly-popular event has grown in size from 40 exhibitors and 11,000 net square feet of exhibit space in 2004, to more than 200 exhibitors and over 83,000 net square feet in 2016. The event also features the largest educational conference in the industry. DSE has been recognized on four distinct occasions as one of the “Fastest 50” growing trade shows in North America.. The event stages annually in Las Vegas.
Launched in 2003, LightShow West delivers the largest lighting conference and trade show on the West Coast. The biennial event stages at the Los Angeles Convention Center and features more than 200 exhibitors, 30 educational sessions and attracted more than 2,000 qualified attendees in 2013. It was ranked as one of EXPO Magazine’s Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows of 2011, and received an “A” rating from Edison Report in 2013. LightShow West is an AIA, IDCEC, LACES, USGBC and NCQLP Continuing Education Provider.
LED Specifier Summit launched in Chicago in 2013. Leading LED lighting manufacturers flock to this annual, one-day tabletop exhibit event in November that offers key education in LED Lighting products and practices geared toward architects, lighting designers, engineers, interior designers and other specifiers of commercial and architectural LED lighting. With the success of the Chicago show, in 2016 LED Specifier Summit expanded to the Northwest with an additional one-day conference in Seattle.
The High Performance Building Forum is held in Chicago, co-located with LED Specifier Summit – Midwest. This one-day conference and product showcase addresses a market need for information that supports the planning and development of high-performance buildings. The event is geared toward architects, designers, engineers, facility managers, energy consultants, real estate managers and other professionals who are responsible for leveraging the efficiency of smart technologies in the built environment.
Launched in 2015 in Atlanta, GA, CorpComm Expo (CCE) will now be held in November at Navy Pier in Chicago co-located with EduComm Expo (ECE). CCE is the only conference and trade show dedicated to showcasing digital communications technology and education to serve the needs of corporate and campus professionals. Professional end user attendance will include C-level and middle management professionals in Corporate Communications Marketing, HR, IT, Administration, Construction & Planning, Business Services, and others with oversight for internal digital communications technologies.
Launched in 2015 in Atlanta, GA, EduComm Expo (ECE) will now be held in November at Navy Pier in Chicago co-located with CorpComm Expo (CCE). This conference and trade show is dedicated to showcasing technologies and information that specifically serve the needs of higher-ed institutions. Professional end user attendance will include C-level and middle management professionals in Campus Communications, IT, A/V, Administration, Construction & Planning and other leaders with oversight for internal digital communications technologies.

This monthly e-newsletter and blog delivers information dedicated to the West Coast lighting industry. Each issue of WCLI includes a featured article by journalist Lois Hutchinson with insightful coverage of installations and trends, a blog provided by guest bloggers that spur discussion, and news that focuses on regulations, case studies, installations and issues that matter most to West Coast lighting designers, architects and specifiers.
